An excellent, criminal thriller that grabs your attention and keeps it. Through a dark underworld full of murder, undercover police, foster children, crooked government agencies, and so much more.
The author jumps right into murder and mayhem from the beginning and it's very intense. Intensity is the main emotion that The Need to Know held to me. There were other emotions of course; sadness, betrayal, hurting; but from start to finish the book was very intense.
The main character, who is searching for his biological father comes to find that he is being sought out as well. The character development of Michael, the main character is interesting and strong. As the turning points of this novel unwind the discoveries keep you locked in.
As the author swirls Michael's story with a story of a corrupt, political landscape what takes shape is an amazing thriller full of criminal aspects. An excellent read.
