Very Informative! I happen to be an avid gardener and found this book to be perfect for the beginner and even one who is advanced. It covers a great amount of information on the different aspects of gardening. There’s so much to learn when planning a garden and the author covered the basics. Therefore giving a new gardener helpful information about plants prior to even considering having a garden.
I found the content to be very easy to understand and not leaving any rocks unturned. As the author touched on climate, soil quality, fertilizers, and even insects! Which can be a gardener's nightmare. In addition, this book explains how to handle situations that arise with gardening which makes this book a must for the beginner.
Gardening the Right Way also contains very good information for the more advanced gardener too and is filled with very helpful references even after the book is complete. Experience is a good teacher although “Gardening the Right Way” will give you the tools ( knowledge) how to succeed at planting, what to plant, how to plant it, and how to maintain it. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to start a flower garden.
