5/5 ⭐ | Voices in the Night by David T. Wolf

Writer Nick Clayborne has a hobby of listening to his radio scanner and writes down the goings on of his fellow neighbors in a journal. Then, one by one, neighbors are being murdered. When the police become aware that he often listens in on his scanner, Nick becomes their prime suspect. Now Nick has to prove himself while tracking down the real murderer before it's too late.

I loved how unique the plot of this story is. Being a widow myself I identified with Nick immediately and found his hobby true to life and realistic. The book is great at being suspenseful and keeping you interested until the end.
