What was really cool to me is how something that many might be aware of is repackaged into a simpler and better way for one to help themselves in every day living. Let's face it, who doesn't want to live their best life.
Being familiar with the twelve step program is one thing. However when you see how the author condensed some things and changed others so that it helped him in his daily life and realize that it can help you too. Then you realize that this self help book doesn't suck at all.
It's a tremendous help to have behavior modification tools laid out simple and explained in depth. This is one self help book that everyone should give a try. It's written well and straight to the point; giving the reader tools to change their life. From prayers to a different way to look at a "higher power", I think this is a must read for those having trouble changing certain aspects of their life. Excellent self help that doesn't suck!!!!
