Review: 5/5 ⭐ | And They Wonder Why It's Hard Being Black

This book is amazing!!! I love the energy and passion that the author has concerning helping the youth and her stance on gangs and young violence. Directly confronting the social problems concerning racism as well.

I truly enjoyed how she renamed all kinds of entertainers and quoted them giving these people recognition for there positive influence on the youth.

Having been an actual social worker the author has the insight to speak on all of these social problems because she has seen them first hand; experiencing them, living through these battles, trying to help.

My favorite thing about this book is that it is as real as it gets. So many crucial issues addressed and done so directly. It was nice to read about the things we can do in life to change the world into a better place.
