I enjoyed reading the mythical world-building in The Ascension Legacy - Book 1: The Shamed Ranger By Gary Richardson
It's a great story about a young Elf, "Riorik" the main character, who comes from the village of Rishdel and begins his missionary and adventurous journey to vindicate his father!
He faces a lot of challenges in different chapters during the story, From struggling with lonesome and injustice to becoming a true warrior as a Ranger.
In book 1, the author has brought many great characters in two parallel stories. The book has strong imagery that puts you in different situations such as the exciting battles and the adorable friendships.
Spoil alert, I love how the story ended in book 1 and how Riorik and his friends, Nordahs and Hugh have passed the challenges and united to build their next chapters. They don't give up on their friendship despite all the threats.
I can't wait to jump in the next episode!!
