A very intriguing and well written book. From the opening pages to the very end this story grabs the reader's attention and takes them on many of journeys. Touching on social aspects, at times from different points in history all the way to current events.
An amazing timeline of twisting and turning events of a young man's life and the effects of all the impacts concerning his life. I truly enjoyed how the author kept me hanging on the edge waiting for more answers.
The story starts out with the central characters in the turbulence of the socially charged sixties with the love of football. Going from there it quickly evolves into a life of dreams and nightmares. Tied into history lessons along with a faith believed by some and shunned by others.
The Walrus: Monster in the Mist is a very intense fantasy meets reality story for the ages. Such a wonderful, exquisite book with tantalizing layers covering so many of the human experiences all leading up to a profound and relatable ending.
